For windows instal Arturia ARP 2600 V2/29/2024 ![]() Of course, hardware has since ‘resumed play’, coming back with something of a vengeance as some of those classic companies get rebooted for the 21st century – think Moog, Oberheim, Sequential/DSI and ARP by Korg – and some are reborn in the fantastic yet complex world of the Eurorack/modular synth. The Yamaha CS-80 is arguably the most coveted, but Minimoogs, ARPs, Prophets, Rolands and Korgs all still have grown men drooling and wobbling at the knees for their lush – or tearing – analogue sounds. We were – and still are – talking tens of thousands of pounds for some examples of the real thing. When the music-production world went software bonkers – that is, everyone and his dog (including me) thought that we should all be making music with laptops and nothing else – one of the first targets for emulation in the software environment was the vintage synth. ![]() In troubleshooting you only want to change one thing at a time.Price €499 Contact Arturia | Source Distribution | 02 V Collection 6 key features: I would give it a try with the ASIO4all drivers deleted and see how that goes (and do this before you do the VC4 redo as it may save you some work). ![]() I can't say for sure if the ASIO4all drivers are a cause of the problem but generally if you have device-specific drivers then you use them and not a generic driver set. If they do then redo the whole collection if not then just the single synth. ![]() Before you do that though are you having the same problem with the other synths in VC4? If you haven't tried them yet you may want to and see if they do the same thing. I would do an uninstall/reinstall with the whole collection. I did unistall and reinstall ARP 2600 V separately (that's what they suggested at the Arturia support) but maybe it's safest to do the same thing with the whole VCollection 4. I'd rather keep them though since I use Asio4all when traveling since my sound card takes too much space. Also delete and reinstall the whole V4 collection and make sure the synths are updated via the ASC (Arturia Service Center).ĭo you think the Asio4all drivers might cause the problem? If so I'll of course delete them. When you got the 11 Rack back and hooked it up did you delete the Asio4all drivers? If not do that and just run with the 11R drivers. Plugin placement: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\Arturia\ARP 2600 V2.aaxplugin\Contents\Win32.Plugin Product: Arturia V Collection 4, including ARP 2600 V.I seriously cannot see how this would be related in any way but I guess it's best to mention it anyway, for safety sake.ĭoes anyone know that might be the problem and/or how to solve it? When I got the sound card back, I changed back to it, instead of Asio4All and at the same time got this problem. The only difference I have made in the system before and after this happened is that I left my sound card (Eleven Rack) for repairs (one of the main outputs of the sound card had stopped working) and opened Pro Tools with Asio4All in the meantime. Which indicates that the problem could be entirely Arturia-related? (I’m having an active support case with the Arturia support about this but I thought it was best to start a thread here as well, in case it is Pro Tools related in any way. When I try to open the standalone version by double-clicking its icon (as administrator and normal user, from the start menu, the desktop and the explorer) the cursor is spinning (as if the computer is busy) for about 3 seconds than it stops (showing the usual arrow) and nothing happens. When create a track, in a Pro Tools session, and add ARP 2600 V to it, or try to activate an existing ARP 2600 V in a track, I get the message that there has been a DAE error: Access violation occurred, unable to read location: 0x00000008 (pls, see attached screen dump).ģ. When I open a Pro Tool session that contains ARP 2600 V (and has been playing it faultlessly earlier), it says that due to insufficient system resources (pls, see attached screen dump).Ģ. Yesterday however I encountered the following problems:ġ. Until recently, I have been using ARP 2600 V and the other software synthesizers in the Arturia V Collection 4 together with my Pro Tool without any problems.
